Increased police presence at Gaithersburg High School following possible threat

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Police in Montgomery County have stepped up their presence Tuesday at Gaithersburg High School after an investigation into a possible threat.

Gaithersburg City Police say they learned of the threat from a parent who told them about a questionable text or social media post.

At this time, investigators are still working to determine if the threat was credible.
