GEORGIA (FOX 5 DC) - One little boy is getting ready to send a big message when he goes back to school.
Nikki Rajahn owns Unfading Adornments, a custom clothing business, and when she asked her 6-year-old what design he wanted on a shirt for the first day of school Blake's heartwarming request surprised her.
Rather than asking for a sporty motif inspired by his love for basketball and football, the little guy gave it some thought and said, "Will you please make me a shirt that says 'I will be your friend' for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?"
The proud mother wrote on Facebook, "Never underestimate your kid's heart for others!"
And sure enough, she happily and obliged and posted a picture on Facebook of a smiling Blake sporting his awesome tee.
Since being posted, the picture has received thousands of likes and hundreds of supportive comments.
"Can you make hundreds more so he can share with everyone! But what a blessing and what a difference he will make," one user said.
Another wrote, "If only adults could try this..congrats to you."
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Blake has previously experienced bullying in school and wants his peers to know that they can count on him as a pal.
