HYATTSVILLE, Md. - A 25-year-old Hyattsville man was arrested for murdering his father inside their home, police say.
Prince George's County police have charged Robert Terreo Figueroa with first-degree murder and other related charges for the deadly stabbing of 51-year-old Roberto Figueroa.
Officers found the victim suffering from stab wounds inside their home in the 7900 block of Riggs Road after they responded to a welfare check call at around 2:05 p.m. Tuesday. Roberto Figueroa was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the 25-year-old son admitted to killing his father and is being held without bond at the Department of Corrections.
