The Ellicott City community needs your help. Many residents were devastated by the flooding on Saturday night-- including their homes and businesses. Here are a few ways you can help.
DONATE FOOD
All donations of food or water should go to the Community Action Council of Howard County. Their food bank has been experiencing extremely high demand since the flood, and they're in need of the following items specifically: high-protein, canned meals with pop tops (ex: ravioli, spaghetti, soup); single-serve, ready-to-eat breakfast, snack or energy bars; paper plates, napkins, plastic forks and spoons; toiletries; diapers; baby food products.
The food bank is located at 8920 Maryland 108, Suite A, Columbia, MD 21045. They are open and accepting donations from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
DONATE MONEY

Howard High School football team collection: Monday
The Howard High School football team tweeted that they're organizing a donation drop-off Monday from 4-7 pm in the Howard High School parking lot. According to the tweet, they'll accept cash or check donations (checks should be made out to the Red Cross), as well as non-perishable food donations.
FUNDRAISERS
Jailbreak Brewing Company will hold a fundraiser on Thursday evening to benefit the victims. Half of all revenue collected will go to charity. Free brewery tours will be offered at 4, 6 and 8 pm, and 100 percent of any donation for the tours will go to the victims.
Giggy's BBQ and Catering food truck will also be there, and will donate 50 percent of all proceeds to the cause.
