Hearing date set for Catherine Hoggle, Montgomery County mother of 2 missing children
ROCKVILLE, Md. - A status hearing was held Thursday morning for a Catherine Hoggle, the Montgomery County mother who authorities believe is at the center of the disappearance of her two young children.
Hoggle is believed to have been the last person to see her children, 4-year-old Sarah and 2-year-old Jacob, before they disappeared more than two years ago, according to police.
Officials say Hoggle refuses to disclose their whereabouts. A judge previously ruled Hoggle was not competent to stand trial and needed more mental health therapy.

Authorities have said they believe the children are dead and were pursuing a homicide case against Hoggle, who has a history of paranoid schizophrenia.
On Thursday, Hoggle's lawyer filed a motion to have the charges against her dismissed. A hearing for Hoggle has been set for Sept. 15.
