Yes, the sunrise looked like a hamburger from the FOX 5 DC Penthouse Monday morning.
FOX 5's Matthew Cappucci said this is caused by an inversion, or increase in temperature with height, which bent the light and made the sun look boxy, along with a very thin cloud marking warm air "advection."
