Gunman spotted running from scene after deadly DC shooting

WASHINGTON - Authorities say a man is dead after a shooting in northeast Washington.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of North Capitol Street just after 9 p.m. Tuesday where a man was found suffering gunshot wounds. He later died from his injuries.

Police say the suspect was wearing all black clothing and was last seen running eastbound towards Florida Avenue.

The victim has not been identified.
