ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Gov. Larry Hogan has announced during a Thursday press conference that he will undergo treatment for skin cancer.
The governor said he'll have a procedure on Saturday to remove several Basal-cell carcinoma skin cancer spots.
Hogan said the procedure was unrelated to his previous cancer treatment. The governor said he doesn't expect to miss any work after the out-patient procedure.
Hogan was announced he was diagnosed with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma in June 2015, just five months after he was sworn into office.
He underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy at the University of Maryland Medical Center and in November 2015 announced he was cancer free.
