KENSINGTON, Md. - A school in Montgomery County was evacuated Thursday while emergency crews investigated a gas leak in the area.
The gas leak was reported to be in the 11300 block of Newport Mill Road in Kensington.
Newport Middle School has been evacuated and several streets in the area were closed.
Firefighters controlled the leak around 10 a.m.
