Race is at the center of a brewing controversy in Montgomery County after a man was seen distributing controversial fliers Monday night at front doors, mailboxes and vehicles in the Kentlands neighborhood of Gaithersburg.

Some residents who saw these fliers described them as racist and offensive and they contacted the Gaithersburg Police Department about them.

The handout said, "White genocide is real. America's white population is being replaced. White people will be a minority in a country founded by our ancestors by 2040. Take pride in your race before it's too late. Why is every other race allowed to have an identity? Why is every other race allowed to have a homeland? Why aren't we allowed to have a say about who lives in our country? We are responsible for the world's greatest inventions, art, and ideas! Don't allow anybody to make you feel ashamed of your history! If we don't put an end to this now and reverse our own replacement the future of our children, our brothers, our sisters, and our spouses will be widdled down to nothing! Stand up for your race! Become informed! Take pride! Put aside less important political differences and remember what truly matters! Other white people are your extended family!!! Israel is in control of the U.S. and Jews run every major institution in the country. Donald Trump will not save us!!!! He's a Zionist, globalist puppet!"

Despite receiving a number of complaints, police said the distribution of the fliers by the unknown man did not rise to the level of a hate crime and they will not be investigating it as a crime.
