Police say two children managed to escape the flames with minor injuries, but officers had to rescue a 3-year-old child who was trapped inside the house.

Authorities say the child suffered severe smoke inhalation and had to be airlifted to a local hospital. The child has since been released.

Pulgar was also taken to the hospital for extensive injuries and was released from the hospital on Thursday. He was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
