WASHINGTON - FOX News host Bret Baier is reportedly selling his Washington, D.C. home, listed at $29 million, to President-elect Donald Trump‘s commerce secretary pick, Howard Lutnick.
It's the most expensive home to ever sell in the District, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Realtor.com reports that the French chateau-style mansion spans 16,250 square feet and features five-bedrooms and 7.5-bathrooms. They say their records indicate that the sale of the home is pending.
The home includes elements of mid-century modern style with its brass accents, stark black-and-white theme and eclectic light fixtures.

It was first listed by Baier and his wife Amy back in October 2023 at an asking price of $32 million but in February 2024, the price was lowered by more than $1 million to $28,995,000. The Wall Street Journal reports that the actual selling price came in at $25 million.
WSJ also reports that Lutnick, who is currently serving as the CEO of the global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, is expected to close on the home this week.
