FOX 5 crew threatened with dog attack at home of security guard accused of assault

Tense moments for members of our news crew on Thursday when they were threatened with a dog attack.

The incident happened when we went to the home of a D.C. grocery store security guard charged with assaulting a transgender woman.

Following a morning court appearance, FOX 5's Tisha Lewis approached the home of Francine Jones, the security guard accused of assaulting Ebony Belcher while she was trying to use the women's restroom inside a Giant Food store.

While at the door, a woman from inside of the home threatened to have her dog attack our crew.

Our FOX 5 crew managed to leave the area safely.

Belcher says Jones forcibly removed her from a woman's restroom at the store. Jones pled not guilty to the charge and is due back in court in July.
