We're in for a humid and stormy workweek with the potential for heavy rain and showers during the second half of each day through Thursday.

FOX 5's Mike Thomas says the first chance for heavy rain and storms will come late afternoon on Monday. The storm threat has prompted a Flash Flood Watch to begin at 2 p.m. and to continue until 10 p.m. Mike says we should stay fairly dry during the morning hours but should be prepared for thunderstorms beginning sometime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Each day this week will start on the muggy side with the potential for storms arriving once we're into the afternoon and evening hours. Once we get through Thursday, summer weather returns in time for the weekend! Mike says after the chance for morning rain, the sun returns on Friday with temperatures in the mid-80s. Dry skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 80s are expected on Saturday and Sunday!
