A two-alarm fire ripped through an apartment building in Prince George's County on Friday.

The Prince George's County Fire Department said its firefighters responded to the blaze at the Franklin Park Apartments, formerly known as the Springhill Lake Apartments, in the 9000 block of Breezewood Terrace in Greenbelt.

Video from the scene showed flames and smoke pouring from the roof of the apartment building.

The fire department said the building was evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Fire officials said 11 apartments, nine of which were occupied and two that were vacant, were impacted. More than a dozen people, including five children, were displaced due to the fire, the fire department stated.
