Fiery Fairfax County truck crash causes delays
Authorities say a major crash involving a pickup truck closed a portion of I-495 for several hours Friday morning. The truck was driving westbound on the Capital Beltway when it ran off the road, struck the jersey wall and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

The impact caused the truck to burst into flames.
The pickup truck was pulling a trailer that was carrying two other vehicles.
Two people were transported to MedStar Washington Hospital Center with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation
