WASHINGTON (AP) -- A federal investigative team is headed from Washington to New York to investigate a commuter train crash that killed seven people.
The National Transportation Safety Board team left Reagan National Airport near Washington on Wednesday morning. They were headed to the scene of the crash in Valhalla, about 20 miles north of New York City.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the collision between a Metro-North Railroad train and a Jeep Cherokee on Tuesday evening killed the SUV's driver and six people aboard the train, making the crash the railroad's deadliest.
