FALLS CHURCH, Va. - A Falls Church jewelry heist was caught on surveillance camera as several suspects distracted the store owner while a woman crawled her way toward a safe.
The Falls Church Police Department said the seven suspects entered Bach Tuyet Jewelers, also known as BT Jewelers, in the 6750 block of Wilson Boulevard at about 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 3.
Officials said six of the suspects distracted the store owner while a seventh suspect was seen dropping to her knees and crawling toward a side door.
Once in the backroom, the suspect was caught on camera pulling jewelry and cash from a safe.
The suspect was seen on video stuffing the stolen goods into a bag and hiding them under her long dress before leaving the store.
Authorities did not disclose how much money was taken during the heist.
