Fairfax County to discuss raising pay for substitute teachers

Fairfax County Public Schools will discuss raising pay for substitute teachers Tuesday.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - Fairfax County Public Schools will discuss raising pay for substitute teachers Tuesday.

A $2-dollar raise is under consideration. Fairfax County reports around 50 openings for long term substitutes.

The Board will bring it up as a topic for their next fiscal year budget.
