The largest school district in Northern Virginia is on the defensive as it faces several lawsuits claiming administrators did not handle sexual misconduct accusations justly.

The suits focus on Fairfax County Public Schools' due process.

One case will be heard in U.S. District Court in 10 days.

The plaintiff is a former student at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax.

He was reportedly walking with a friend when the friend smacked a female student on her behind.

The girl turned around, asked who did it, and was confronted with silence. She reported both boys to the administration.

The lawsuit says the plaintiff - who is known as John Doe - apparently had his constitutional rights to due process violated.
