Early morning fire badly damages Montgomery County home where hoarding conditions were present, officials say
BETHESDA, Md. - An early morning fire badly damaged a home in Montgomery County where hoarding conditions were present, officials say. The fire was reported at a house on Persimmon Tree Lane Monday around 5 a.m.
The lone occupant of the home was able to escape the blaze. Officials say one firefighters was hurt.
Officials believe unattended cooking led to the fire. An estimated $800,000 in damages were reported.
