Downed wires in Silver Spring cause morning delays

SILVER SPRING, Md. - A crash that downed wires in Silver Spring has led to morning delays for commuters.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. along southbound Georgia Avenue just outside the Beltway.

Several lanes are closed as utility crews works to clear the scene.

No injuries were reported.
