BETHESDA, Md. - A GoFundMe page has been set up for one of the families displaced after fire damaged an apartment complex in Bethesda.
The fire happened early Tuesday morning on Sangamore Road. A total of seven occupants were displaced and two units were damaged.
Investigators say the fire was caused by faulty electric and caused approximately $250K in damage.
The fundraising page was set up to help the Whitley family. The post says that the family, which includes a school-aged child, lost everything in the fire. As of Thursday afternoon, a little over $1600 had been raised.
