Disney unveils new image for 'Star Wars' land

It's not in a galaxy far, far away but Disney is promising an out of this world experience at its upcoming "Star Wars" themed lands.

In April, Disney celebrated the official groundbreaking of Star Wars-themed lands coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Now, fans can take a sneak peek at one of the resort's first official renderings of the new park.

"Look closely and you may find hints of some of the thrilling experiences that are coming - like the Millennium Falcon peeking out of one of the cargo bays, marking the location where guests will get the opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy," Disney noted on its official blog.

Crews have already cleared the land at Disneyland on the site that once was home to Big Thunder Central, to make way for wookies, Storm Troopers, Millennium Falcon replicas and more.

In Florida, the Orlando Sentinel has previously reported that there will be two signature rides -- one that allows visitors to take control of the Millennium Falcon and another that features an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance from the new "Star Wars" films. There will be two dining venues including a cantina and an upscale dinner club. There will also be an open-air market in which all the vendors will be in character.

Disney has yet to announce official opening dated for the "Star Wars" themed lands.
