WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A 3-month-old girl who was rushed to the hospital over the weekend has died and her death is now being investigated as a homicide.

Police say they were called to the 4300 block of G Street in Southeast, D.C. Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. where they found the infant, identified as Skylar Newman, unresponsive and unconscious. She was admitted to a nearby hospital in grave condition but died from her injuries on Tuesday.
Police have ruled her death a homicide and say she died from blunt force injuries. Police are offering a $25,000 reward in her death and ask anyone with information to call 202-727-9099.
