Death investigation underway on Loudoun County trail

STERLING, Va. - Police are on the scene at the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in Loudoun County where a death investigation is underway.

The investigation began around 10 a.m. on a section of the trail in Sterling between Dominion Drive and Crestview Drive. Authorities are asking people to avoid the area.

Few details have been released. However, police say there is no danger to the community.
