Deadly crash in Laurel closes portion of Route 1

LAUREL, Md. - A deadly crash in Howard County has closed a portion of Route 1 in Laurel.

The crash was reported around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say Route 1 is closed in both directions in the area of Whiskey Bottom Road.

The cause of the crash has not been determined.
