DC Public Schools make masks optional

Beginning Wednesday, March 16, masks will be optional for students, staff, and visitors in D.C. Public Schools.

WASHINGTON - Beginning Wednesday, March 16, masks will be optional for students, staff, and visitors in D.C. Public Schools.

The decision comes following the latest health guidance and drop in COVID-19 cases in the District.

Masks will also be optional in DCPS offices and on OSSE-DOT transportation.
