FORT BRAGG, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - We're not crying, you're crying!
Army Captain Eric Morski recently surprised his 10-year-old daughter for Christmas at the family's home where they're stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina after being deployed for six months in Nepal.
Meredith Morski, Capt. Morski's wife, tells FOX 46 Charlotte that he'd planned to surprise their daughter, Iliana, while she was eating breakfast last week.
The two would often Facetime while Iliana was eating breakfast and he was eating dinner in Nepal.
Instead, Capt. Morski snuck into the house while a sitter was there.
"She was upstairs in her room about to go to sleep when I told her he wanted to Facetime her before she went to bed, like they normally do," Meredith said. "Little did she know that he would be Facetiming her from downstairs."
The adoration Iliana has for her father is priceless, and their little pup, Oliver, was excited too.
Captain Eric Morski will be stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. for the next year with his family.
