SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - The Virginia State Police on behalf of the Southampton County Sheriff's Office has issued a "critically missing adult alert" as they search for a 34-year-old woman who was last seen Friday in the town of Newsoms.
Police say Cynthia Michelle Carver was last seen at 28495 Everett Street on February 22.
She is described as a black female who is 5-foot-1 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.
Police say Carver's disappearance poses a "credible threat to her health and safety."
