Busch Gardens' Flamingos take shelter before Irma hits
TAMPA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - To ensure the safety of the 12,000 animals that call Busch Gardens home. the theme park reports that they have enacted a comprehensive weather preparedness plan.
This plan involves moving the animals to secure locations, where a zoological team is on site for the duration of the storm to monitor the animals around the clock.
