Bronze 500 pound dog statue stolen in Southeast DC
WASHINGTON, D.C. - A 500lb bronze statue depicting a dog was stolen in Southeast, D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in the search for a statue stolen from a dog park in Southeast. The statue appears to replicate a Schnauzer dog, which is typically known for being an energetic breed.

According to police, the incident occurred on January 24, between midnight and early afternoon. Police say a bronze statue depicting a dog, weighing about 500 lbs., was stolen from a park in the 1000 block of L Street, Southeast.
