Shelter in place lifted at Kennedy HS in Montgomery County, bomb threat 'not valid,' police say

A high school in Montgomery County was under a shelter in place order after an apparent bomb threat was made Tuesday morning, officials say.

The bomb threat reported at John F. Kennedy High School in Glenmont Tuesday morning was determined not valid according to the Montgomery County Department of Police. 

The school is no longer under a shelter in place according to a tweet at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday.
