Body recovered from Potomac River in Alexandria, officials say
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A body was recovered from the Potomac River in Northern Virginia, according to officials.
Authorities said they received a call at about 9:15 a.m. for a person in the water. near Cameron and Union Streets in Alexandria.
Officials confirmed the body of a man was recovered, but no other details were immediately available.
Detectives said their investigation was ongoing.
