WASHINGTON - Authorities have arrested four people, including one juvenile, who they say were armed when they forced their way into a D.C. apartment unit and barricaded themselves inside.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Thursday at the Onyx on First apartments on the 1100 block of First Street in the Navy Yard neighborhood.
Investigators say the four-armed males forced entry into a sixth-floor unit and barricaded themselves inside.
The barricade ended around 7 a.m. No injuries were reported, and it is unclear what type of weapons were used.
Multiple firearms have been recovered. Motorists in the area can expect delays along First Street from M Street to K Street. It is unclear if anyone arrested lived in the apartments.
The investigation is continuing.
