Armed bystander stops Loudoun County robbery
STERLING, Va. - Loudoun County police say an armed bystander stopped a robbery Saturday morning in Loudoun County.
The victim told police that 24-year-old Jeremiah Bradley assaulted him and his mother-in-law during an attempted robbery in Sterling.
A nearby bystander stopped the robbery by shooting three rounds and detaining Bradley until police arrived.
Police say no one was hit by the fired bullets.
Bradley is charged with attempted robbery and two counts of assault and battery. He is being held in Loudoun County jail without bond.
