Arlington PD seeks additional victims in Boulevard Trail assault case

More victims come forward after assaults in Arlington

In January, a 17-year old juvenile as charged with assault and battery of a woman running on Arlington Boulevard trail in November. Today, the Special Victims Unit of the Arlington County Police Dept. announced that they are seeking information on additional victims.

In January, a 17-year old juvenile as charged with assault and battery of a woman running on Arlington Boulevard trail in November. Today, the Special Victims Unit of the Arlington County Police Dept. announced that they are seeking information on additional victims. 

The 17-year is now facing 7 aassault and battery charges (as a juvenile); including the previous charge in January and 6 new charges. 

There are at least 5 victims total (in 2 of the cases, the suspect re-approached the same victim). Police still believe that there could be additional victims who have yet to come forward.

All incidents involved women who were walking or running on the trail/sidewalk and it is believed that the suspect "approached women from behind and grabbed their buttocks."

All of the incidents happened in the Courthouse + Radnor/Ft. Myer Heights neighborhoods, and the new incident locations are: -New =

  • 1300 Block of N. Troy St.
  • Fairfax Drive at N. Troy St.
  • Arlington Blvd. at 10th St N.
  • 1100 block of N. Barton St.
