Apartment fire displaces residents in Southeast
WASHINGTON - Firefighters responded to a fire in a three-story apartment building in Southeast.
Authorities say aggressive firefighting efforts prevented the spread of flames into the attic of an apartment building located in the 1600 block Morris Rd.
Residents will be temporarily displaced due to roof damage. There are no reported injuries at this time.
The fire origin has been ruled as an accident, according to firefighters.
