700th Honor Flight brings veterans to DC to visit memorials dedicated to them

Veterans from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War arrived in Washington, D.C. Tuesday to a hero's welcome.

The men and women arrived as part of the Honor Flight Network's 700th flight providing veterans with a visit to the nation's capital to see the memorials dedicated to them.

Their plane took off from Sioux Falls, South Dakota early in the morning and was greeted with a water cannon salute when the wheels touched the ground Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
