WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Veterans from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War arrived in Washington, D.C. Tuesday to a hero's welcome.
The men and women arrived as part of the Honor Flight Network's 700th flight providing veterans with a visit to the nation's capital to see the memorials dedicated to them.
Their plane took off from Sioux Falls, South Dakota early in the morning and was greeted with a water cannon salute when the wheels touched the ground Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
