ARLINGTON, Va. - Six teenagers have been arrested after they are accused of storming into a house in Arlington armed while demanding money and other items from partygoers.
Parker Christian, who lives across the street from where the home invasion robbery happened on Military Road, said a young man lives there with his mother and just graduated high school. He told Christian he was hosting a party with about 20 people.
It was around midnight on Friday when the suspects wearing masks broke in the back door of the home. The suspects were armed with a gun, a knife and pepper spray. One of the people in the home was stabbed while several others were attacked with pepper spray.
The suspects took off with undisclosed amount of cash and other items.
Some of the victims followed the suspects outside. A passerby witnessed them get into a fight and called 911. When Arlington County police arrived, five suspects were in a car speeding off. The sixth suspect had run off on foot, but was caught a short distance away.
Landry Bryant, Misael Leaver, George Nymbal, Marcos Powers and Samir Boufnichal, all between 18 and 19 years old, are facing several charges including robbery and burglary. A 17-year-old has been charged as well.
The victims told police they do not know the suspects.
All of the injured victims are all fine and were treated at the scene. No one had to be taken to the hospital.
