WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Five people were injured - including one who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition - when a car ran a red light and slammed into a Metrobus early Saturday morning in D.C., according to officials.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at 9th Street and Massachusetts Avenue around 3 a.m.
When they arrived, two people were trapped in the car, and needed to be pulled free.
Along with the person who suffered a critical injury, a second person was seriously injured. Two others were transported with minor injuries, and a third person was treated at the scene.
None of the people involved have been identified.
