UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Authorities say four inmates were hospitalized after an incident at the Prince George's County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
Officials say the incident happened around 6:20 p.m. Monday in an open cell.
Authorities say two of the inmates were treated for what appeared to be puncture wounds while the other two were treated for minor injuries. Two inmates were uninjured in the incident and were taken directly to the maximum security housing unit.
The incident is still under investigation.
