LOMPOC, Calif. (FOX 11) - A magnitude 4.3 earthquake has struck off California's coast.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake hit at 1;38p.m. Thursday and had an epicenter about 16 miles (26 kilometers) southwest of Lompoc.
The agency says the earthquake had a depth of about 5.6 miles (9.6 kilometers.)
Reports from the USGS indicate that the earthquake was felt in parts of Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and Ventura County.
