MITCHELLVILLE, Md. - Three Prince George' County police officers were injured in a crash involving two police cruisers Tuesday, according to officials.
Authorities said the officers were taking part in an investigation when the two police cruisers collided at about 1:30 p.m. on Lottsford Vista Road near Lottsford Road in Mitchellville.
Officials said three officers were taken to the hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries. Lottsford Road was closed as detectives investigated the crash scene.
Aerial footage showed a marked Prince George's County police cruiser with apparent damage to the driver's door and extensive damage to the front of a dark color vehicle.
