Authorities say two Topgolf employees were shot overnight when a gunman opened fire at the store's Germantown location.

Both were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

FOX 5's Melanie Alnwick says the shooting happened just after the business had closed for the night.

Investigators say the gunman fled the scene in a vehicle. No motives or suspects have been identified.

Topgolf officials provided FOX 5 with this response:

"We can confirm an incident occurred last night at our Germantown venue that resulted in the injury of a Topgolf employee and third-party security guard. We are incredibly grateful that both are recovering, and we commend our teams for acting swiftly and safely in response to the incident. We’re unable to comment further given the ongoing nature of the police investigation, and our primary focus remains on the safety and support of our teams during this time."

The venue plans to open for business Tuesday.
