2 escape morning fire that destroyed home in Prince George's County
SEAT PLEASANT, Md. - An early morning fire in Prince George's County has left two residents without a home.
FOX 5's Melanie Alnwick said the fire struck at a house in the 400 block of Willow Hill Place in the Seat Pleasant area around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
The man and woman were woken by a smoke alarm and the sound of the flames. They rushed out of the house and to a neighbor's home where they called 911.
The home was quickly engulfed in flames which destroyed much of the structure.
It is unclear what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
