13-year-old boy shot in La Plata
LA PLATA, Md. - A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot in the wrist late Monday night in La Plata, Maryland.
The shooting happened just before midnight near Kent Avenue and Caroline Drive.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office says it is unclear if the teen was targeted.
Authorities have not identified any suspects or motives at this time.
