WASHINGTON - Ten vehicles were involved in a crash Monday in Northwest, D.C. that caused traffic backups during the morning commute.
The crash happened along westbound Military Road between 14th Street and Beach Drive at around 6:30 a.m. Images from the scene showed a school bus as being involved in the crash.
A salt truck was dispatched to the area. It is unclear if the icy conditions caused the crash. The cause is still being investigated.
Military Road, between 14th Street and Beach Drive, was closed for several house and reopened to traffic around 10 a.m.
