1 dead in crash on 11th Street Bridge

WASHINGTON - Authorities say one person was killed in a crash on the 11th Street Bridge in D.C. early Thursday.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on southbound Interstate 296 near westbound Interstate 695.

Police say a man was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
