1 dead, 2 injured in Southeast DC shooting

WASHINGTON - Authorities say one person is dead and two have been injured after shots were fired in Southeast, D.C.

Police responded to the incident around 10:50 a.m. near where 30th Street, Buena Vista Terrace and Hartford Street converge.

Police are investigating a host of violent incidents that occurred throughout DC over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Officers say one man was killed in the shooting. Another man and a woman were wounded and hospitalized.
